Refunds

Refunds are initiated through the payment processor and synchronized back to the DSE order system through the production webhook.

• Full successful refund: the DSE order is marked refunded, future server-side download/activation access is revoked, and a claimed Founding Customer slot is returned.
• Partial refund: the order remains active and the Founding Customer slot remains claimed.
• Failed or canceled refund: DSE preserves/restores the appropriate non-refunded state.

An already-issued signed offline licence installed on a disconnected computer cannot be remotely erased by the server. Server-side entitlement, future downloads and future activation are still controlled by the licensing service.
