Private AI Advisor

The DSE Data Intelligence Agent adds an approval-gated AI layer on top of deterministic DSE analysis. Ollama remains the default local provider; DSE can also use configured online providers when the user explicitly permits online AI.

What the Advisor does

• Analyzes discovered schema metadata and deterministic DSE findings.
• Shows structural repetition/overlap, including high-confidence results and review candidates.
• Ranks supported destination recommendations and lets the user select one active destination.
• Creates or refreshes draft output targets for the selected destination.
• Stages the selected destination for Generate Deployables.

Safety model

AI analysis is metadata-first and read-only. AI does not itself write to an external database. Review the recommended destination, route, capability badge, object names, write mode and connection before generating or running a deployable.

When an online provider is enabled, the cloud payload is bounded metadata and DSE findings. DSE excludes database passwords, tokens, connection strings, client secrets, API keys and database row values from the Advisor cloud payload.
